Amplifier Shutting Down

Portal Development has made the strategic decision to discontinue Amplifier to concentrate on those with the strongest potential for success. After a thorough review by our management team, it was determined that "End of Life" status for certain bots would allow us to better allocate resources and focus on our most promising projects.

We will be unfortunately taking down Amplifier. Originally developed by our Head of Development, Max, Amplifier experienced rapid growth early on, with only the Verified Application standing in the way of further expansion. Following the initial launch, Dummi and I seized the opportunity to enhance the bot further. Amplifier was my first bot development project, and it provided me with invaluable experience in the fundamentals of bot creation. I am grateful for the opportunity to have worked on this.

Similar to our approach with Portal Quiz, we may consider turning the bot into a public archive. Service for these bots will officially end on August 16th.

Update

The bot will continue to stay until until August 31st, 2024, where it will be taken offline and will be open-sourced to public. You will find more information here at that time.
